Meet the Artist
My name is Adam Gregory, also known as TinyEyeCons. I am a portrait painter whose work bridges the gap between traditional portraiture and contemporary street art.
Each print is generated from a hand-painted original. My style is loosely layered, I prefer to find the face in paint rather than painstakingly map it out in pencil. I use expressive brushwork with dynamic colours and textures.
If I had an ethos, it would be:
“Time and wet paint wait for no man.”
That attitude keeps me hungry.
My main inspirations come from music, musicians, poets, fellow artists, and film, essentially, the everyday creativity you encounter while wandering through any big city. It’s that grit and rhythm of the streets that fuels my work.
I hope my portraits reveal both the individual’s likeness and the universal human stories beneath the surface.
My constant aim is connection, I want people to engage with the subject as if they’re seeing them truly, perhaps even for the first time. “The eyes are the window to the soul.”
Through this fusion of fine art and street culture, I create striking visuals that challenge conventional portraiture and celebrate the authenticity of both the art and the subjects I choose.
